Hi, I’m Shaelee Durbin,
I attended Utah Valley University where I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science, Family Studies.
Growing up I was always interested in how our lives affected our behaviors and emotions. I started developing health issues at 21 where I decided to dive in deep on how to heal the body naturally. After several years and with the help of practitioners who found the root cause of my issues instead of the “bandaid”method, my life was changed for the better and so was my health.
Foot Zone Therapy helped immensely in my healing. Integrating what I learned in college, along with my health journey, and foot zone school I have loved helping people get to the root cause of their health concerns. I believe healing happens through mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually aligning. As we focus on these four realms our body can heal. Healing is possible I’ve done it and you can too.
Targeted healing through sound instruments like drums, tuning forks, and singing bowls-has been practiced for centuries by cultures all over the world. Think of sound healing as an internal massage for your muscles, tissues, and organs. The goal of sound therapy is to manipulate human brain waves to promote physical and mental healing. Sound therapy releases tension, energy, anxiety as well as alleviates muscle and bone pain by using sound frequencies. It also has emotional benefits thanks to sympathetic vibration.
I'm so excited to be a part of Movement Chiropractic!
